It Must Be Monday

I'm not tech savvy.  This I know.

In spite of that, I thought I would attempt to change my own blog header because it's sadly out of date and in dire need of a face lift.  Other people - you know who you are - are changing theirs all the time, so I thought, "Hey, how hard can it be?"

My first attempt was a disappointing piece of doggy doo-doo at the top of my blog.

*Sad frowny face*

I kept at it and am marginally more satisfied with what you see now.  Bear with me.  I'm learning.  If you have any pointers or suggestions, feel free to pass them along.

In the meantime, I'm taking my dog outside so she doesn't die of boredom and I can clear my head.

My bwain is stwained...

Blog header looks wonderful! Nicely done! I did the same thing with my pooch for some mind cleansing...a jaunt through the snow. Time out of doors with Mother Nature is a cure all if we learn to let the clouds/thoughts just float on by! Aloha

I like your new header, you did a fantastic job. I think the header is simplistic but classy and that pop of turquoise tickles the eye. I do love that font you are using, would you share the name of the font?

Stay warm.

I'm not good at moving mine around either. It takes time that I don't have. I'd love to have a few hours to myself to just mess with it. Maybe that will be my January goal--how to change my blog header.

I like yours--it looks very nice. :)

Your blog header is looking good!
Wasn't it almost 'tropical' today? LOL!
After all the windchill, anything is an improvement.

I can't do my own headers either. I usually enlist the services of someone who knows how.

I only change mine when I start to get anonymous comments about "it's time to change your header....

So to fix that I stopped accepting anonymous comments...lol.

I like what you have done, it's very peaceful. It takes practice to get something that you like.

I'm impressed you have a three picture collage. I can't manage more than one. I tried to do a collage once and it was soooooo frustrating. I haven't tried since. :)

You too huh? I thought maybe I was the only one who was apparently unable to understand, remember, or do, almost anything on this computer that most people routinely do all the time. *sigh* I feel your pain. :)

Hmmm...I thought I commented on this. Well. I shall again incase I did not.

I like your new blog header - yes I do!

I do not believe your first attempt was doggy doo-doo. LOL!

;)

Thank you everyone for your kind and supportive comments. For those of you struggling, too, at least we're not alone, right? *smile*

I had to take a whole day away from the computer and I'm working on an entirely unrelated project for the next couple of days. I'll tackle the header again in another few days.

Caroline: Thank you! You're a gem!

Tammy: The font is Mutlu. Weird name, I know.

It looks great! And I'm viewing it on an iPad so that's saying something! I love the photos you chose.
