Celine's Brave Journey and My Giveaway Results

What an awesome time we all had here these past two days, sharing the tales of our exploits and daring adventures.  What fun it was to gather together and celebrate our courageous successes.

Not to be outdone by Luna's exploits of yesterday, I'm delighted to report that my own Little Miss Celine made a daring foray out of the spare room yesterday morning!  *Wild Happy Dancing*  (She has been on a self imposed exile since we brought Willow home in January).  I'll be darned if she didn't march straight out the door and around the corner into the adjacent bathroom where we visited for a few minutes while Willow, aka The Big Black Beast, managed to keep her excitement in check and discretely sniffed the tip of her tail.

About that time, a bug wandered by in the hallway, so Willow was momentarily distracted and went off to investigate it's suitability as a meal.  Turns out, it was somewhat palatable.

While Willow was otherwise occupied, Celine left the bathroom twice to take a few bold steps further down the hallway before turning around to visit with me in the bathroom again.  She did, at one point, hiss at Willow and planted a firm right hook on her nose with her clawless paw before finally retreating back to the safety of the spare room.

Sadly, my camera was at the other end of the house on the kitchen counter, so I'm unable to share video footage of this momentous occasion.  Hopefully, there will be a next time.

And, now, onto the main event.

I sincerely believe that each one of us who face our fears and step out in faith, is deserving of recognition and reward.  So, those of you who shared your tales of triumph here in the past two days, will each be receiving a copy of John Ortberg's wee book of incredible wisdom If You Want to Walk on Water You've Got to Get Out of the Boat.

Please e-mail me with your contact information to the address located on my sidebar, and I will ship you (get it?) this small token of my admiration and congratulations, because there are no losers here.

I want to thank you all for stopping by and playing along!  Keep getting those feet wet!

so sweet...change asks all of us to dig deep and find courage...four legged or two.

Laura: Isn't that the truth - whether we're ready to or not. We missed you too!

She is one brave cat, just imagine how big the black scary monster is now.

And I am thrilled to be a winner, horray!

Glad to hear that Celine ventured out and that she gave the monster a shot in the nose.

I love that Celine rose to the challenge. But look at her role model (and I don't mean Luna).

Jen: Willow literally looms over top of the cats, looking a little like a vulture. I can imagine how daunting that would be.

Gillian: Celine did lay a pretty good right hook on Willow's nose.

Karin: Aw, you flatter me. *blush* I'm actually quite a big wuss who finds most of her courage inside a bag of potato chips.

YAY for Celine!!!!! I'm glad she got up the gumption and was even brave enough to fend for herself when she felt she needed to. Good for her!

Cindy: I was so thrilled when she just marched out of the room with such conviction. Poor Willow doesn't know what to make of these cats, though.
